Vestibular Assessment

If you have dizziness or balance problems and have never had a Vestibular Assessment, this is your first step towards finding answers.

Assessment may include Video-Nystagmography (VNG) and Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMPs) to assess inner ear function and help diagnose vestibular neuritis, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), orcentral vestibular disorder.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Following an accurate assessment, several conditions can be treated or managed by means of maneuvers or personalized exercise programs. We specialize in maneuvers for positional vertigo, such as the Epley maneuver. We are also experienced in treating complex forms of positional vertigo such as crystals in multiple canals or treatment-resistant forms. In some cases, a vestibular rehabilitation program is the most effective way to reduce symptoms. Programs includes specialized exercises to address symptoms such as sensitivity to movements, dizziness provoked by certain head movements or visual stimulation, constant sensations of swaying or rocking, and imbalance or unsteadiness. Exercises are personalized to your symptoms and your current condition. Symptoms often improve with regular practice of the exercise program.
